You are not mistaken, my dear blissful readers. You read it right and it’s May already. My gratitude list for April comes late, 27 days late to be exact. But, I believe that appreciation and being thankful for what we’ve been blessed with can never be late so, allow me.
Needless to say, the most precious blessing we received last April was our new little bundle of joy, baby Veronica. I’m grateful that I was able to deliver her safely although it’s not what I have expected nor I have hoped for. (I delivered through emergency cesarean.) I’m grateful she’s healthy and we’re both safe and doing fine right now despite my struggles with the healing of my incision. Also, I’m grateful for everyone who celebrated with our family. From the bottom of the Aguis’ hearts, THANK YOU SO MUCH!
I did prepare for the cost of delivering baby V however, I only prepared for a normal birth, physically, emotionally and financially. But, God is indeed good and always on perfect time. I received financial blessings just in time to cover the short in our savings. Truly, a testimony to the saying, “if God puts you to it, He will get you through it”.
I’m coming up with a new life bucket list and this time I’m determined to take them down one by one. It’s still a work in progress and I’d like to keep it to myself this time around (unlike my hit list) in order to avoid frustrations and pressures. Although the travel entries would have to wait until baby V weans, maybe in two years time. Shucks! But, all good. My children won’t be young forever. It’s their time, our season to enjoy each other this close. In the meantime, I will just beef up their educational funds and my bling box.
I’m typing this using my phone, so forgive me for any errors and for keeping this short. Have a blissful weekend!
