♥ Thank You 2016, Ready for Expansion in 2017! ♥

Nine days after the break of 2017, here I am doing two very important tasks. One is reviewing the year that passed, trying to immortalize the lessons it taught me and getting encouragement from whatever it is that we have achieved through prayers with hard work.
.
.
Even if I was able to beef-up our investment accounts in 2016, still I failed to invest specific amounts for specific purposes. Will try this again this 2017. Kids’ college education, retirement, and travel are my priorities.
.
I can’t seem to jumpstart a business, kahit online lang. My time is not enough for 2 kids and a daytime job. Perhaps I need to find a help na when baby no. 3 comes so that I could finally venture in a small starter-business.
.
I was not able to enroll in a distance learning but I have passed the licensure exam for Real Estate Brokers last year. Would that count? My next goal is to get a Certificate of Teaching (since the Appraiser Exam is already closed for non-BS REM graduates) but it’ll be more realistic to target a new diploma/certificate in 2018, a year after I give birth to baby no. 3.
.
Of all the goals I set for 2016, this one is what I’m truly proud to have achieved with my hubby. Kasi naman, out of 4, ito lang din talaga yung clearly I was able to achieve. Hehe We were able to finish the interiors of our home-starter in the South. We have 3 more years to pay in full our house loan (as part of our 5-year plan which begun in 2015) then we can acquire a new property or start our resort-type house in the North.
.
As for my 5-yrear plan (2015-2020), we’re right on track when it comes to paying our house loan. We’re giving ourselves 3 more years maximum to finish it off.
.
We’re also keen on acquiring a new property by 2020. We already know what we want as early as now. We’ve been tempted too many times to enter into another mortgage loan but thankfully self-discipline and lessons from past impulsive decisions in real estate prevail. We decided to stick to the plan. Finish the house loan first then acquire a new property. Unless of course, we come across a great deal/bargain that suits our current savings for that.
.
I have yet to set a direction (which I’m earnestly praying for) for my career and/or business. I have so may business ideas which unfortunately I cannot bring into life due to lack of credible feasibility studies and time to execute.
.
With the family getting bigger this year, Asian Tour can wait until 2020 too. We just can’t leave our kids behind for more than one night, you know. Clingy mommies, unite!
.
.
My Dream Board remains as is and so are my Simple Wishes, One-hit Wonder and Ideal Month.
.

.
I envision the year 2017 as a year for expansion, literally and figuratively. We will soon be expanding our family into of five. I pray and I plan to expand our happy memories as a family. I pray and plan to expand my relationship with God. I also pray and plan to expand my personal knowledge and experience. I pray and plan to expand my marriage by loving, caring and understanding more my husband. Last but not the least, I pray and plan to expand our savings and investments.
.
It is but right to offer to God and to the universe my goals this 2017. #Expansion2017
.
With the arrival of baby no. 3, a family car becomes a necessity. And, the good news is that we’re having it this January! Thank You, Lord! Please protect us at all times in every journey we take with this car.
.
Health cards for me and my husband. I always get one for each of my kids but I don’t pursue getting one for us. This January, I made sure to get one for me and my husband. (DONE)
.
Insurance for my husband. Still looking for the right one.
Earn from blogging.
Earn from stock trading.
Expansion of charities.
Expansion of capacities (emotionally, physically, financially)
Read the Bible. Expansion of spirituality, of faith.

It’s been an amazing 2016 indeed and surely this new year holds a whole lot of blessings too. Have a blissful year ahead bliss buddies!

xoxo
